Screw machine parts are fabricated to blueprint or drawing specifications using single spindle or multi-spindle automatics. These machines achieve a precision tolerance of .0005 of an inch.
Quality assurance technicians inspect and gauge a representative sample of each batch of finished parts by hand prior to shipping. Packaging procedures at Mt. Vernon Screw Products are highly regulated to assure the fit, function, and shelf integrity of the finished part. On time delivery represents the final step in the company's commitment to total customer satisfaction.
Operators utilize an optical comparator, electronic gauging, mini-processors, and standard plug and ring gages to insure a high standard of quality.
