Mt. Vernon Screw Products "Inventory Control System" uses state-of-the-art computer hardware and software to track material, tooling, and products. Our facility incorporates the latest in bar coding technologies to provide unprecedented inventory accuracy. The bar code system begins tracking the material once it enters the plant, through production, and up to the customer's dock.
The GSE Scale along with a trained, professional staff ensures accurate counts on all product leaving our plant. Product is packaged and preserved for storage and shipment. This packaging ensures that the parts will be delivered to meet our customers' needs.
The use of bar coding also helps us reduce the cost of doing business by eliminating mixed parts, over run material, improper tooling, or incomplete operations. This benefit to us in turn reduces the cost of the part to our customers.
